Bald Eagles in New Jersey?
Yes. In fact, there's sightings in Toms River, near the Brick border.
An apparent nest or favorite perch for bald eagles is just north of Kettle Creek Road, and south of Old Hooper Avenue, at the north edge of Silverton.
A good spot to eagle-watch is the Advance Auto Parts on Hooper Avenue, during the afternoons.

We haven't seen the pair in over a wee also. Was told by the state that they are incubating eggs so they may be low in the nest. I will also keep looking. Just came from Blackwater wildlife Refuge in Maryland and they have 30 nesting pair there. We saw over 30 eagles in one day, AWESOME.

"...as I sit in traffic..." Now there's the subject of another rant, but let's stay positive.
This is proof that AT&T is for the birds!
Do eagles eat squirrels? I'm glad to see a lot fewer squirrels in this area.

Seems like you are the negative one. I believe eagles eat people that hate squirrels.

Ok ...... Eagles most commonly eat fish . That is why they build nests near water. Eagles also do not attack people no matter how negative they are . They are the symbol of the FREE country and are truly a comeback miracle . It is amazing to watch eagles and all nature to make us realize are dear and fragile life is.

Eagles main diet is fish one of the reasons nests are so high and close to big bodies of water I've watch them bring fish after fish up there but sunday I was watching and one of them dropped straight down into the woods I got closer but not to close and something screemed twice my guess a rabbit

As of May 28th, the 2 baby eagles are getting ready to fly. One goes on the railing and flaps his wings. Good luck, babies!

She has slight grey shadows around her eyes she has a larger beak and the end of her mouth goes all the way to the back of her eye . Mom was there today took off just before the storm

About a month ago I thought I saw eaglets (all dark, no white) on cell tower near Top Tomato on Brick. Maybe just resting there, not nesting. I thought I saw white-headed Daddy on Advance Auto Parts cell tower about a month ago, again not necessarily nesting there anymore.
How do they survive 70MPH winds? Do they migrate in fall? Do they stay in the same nest from one year to the next? Local eagle experts, please write something for all the eagles fans (and I don't mean football Eagles).
