If you can't head out to downtown Toms River, there's still some places you can watch one of the largest Halloween parades.
There's no substitute for being there in person watching on Main Street or Washington Street, but this may be the next best thing: online or on TV.
A live stream of the parade can be viewed from the Toms River Fire Co. #1's website here.
The feed is switched on at 7 p.m., but the paraders may not make it to the camera until 7:20 p.m.
Toms River Regional School's public access channels will rerun their taping of the parade after editing the hours of footage this week. Tune into TV21 later this week when the produces announce when you can see the parade in its entirety.

Toms River is amazing! The only town I know that ruins Halloween each and every year for a corny parade that has nothing to do with Halloween!

I think the parade is a useless waste of money. Put trick or treating back on the right day and forget the parade!

Wait what is wrong with this picture?? We can put the Halloween Parade on TV21 but, we can't put the school board meetings on this channel? Am I missing something?? Oh. that's right the BOE doesn't want the residents to know what they are up to.

Toms River is amazing! The only town I know that enhances Halloween each and every year by hosting a wonderful parade that is a great way to celebrate...Halloween!

Boy, you ppl sound so miserable. More than 100,000 ppl enjoy the parade in TR and have for almost 100 years. Trick or treat has always been the day before and I've lived here all my life and never have heard anybody complain. It's a wonderful tradition. Thanks to TRFC1 for consistently doing a wonderful job year after year.

Did any of the following commenters above grow up in TR? It's pretty nice that children can trick or treat on the 30th and in another town on the 31st plus enjoy a parade. High school students are also given the chance to display their artwork by decorating the downtown store window,, you can enroll your children to walk or advertise your business for little cost.
