Drivers Who Don't Clear Snow Off Vehicles Could Face Fines
Law imposing fines for snow-covered vehicle roofs is in effect
With some snow accumulation expected this weekend, remember that once your driveway is cleared, your snow removal work may not be over.
Under a state law that went into effect in October 2010, New Jersey drivers face fines for failing to clean snow and ice off of their vehicles.
In the past, drivers would only be fined if snow and ice fell off their vehicle and caused damage or injury. Now motorists will be expected to clean snow and ice off before hitting the road or face a fine of $25 to $75.
The fines for damage or injury range from $200 to $1,000, or $500 to $1,500 for commercial drivers, according to New Jersey statute.

Good. But it will probably be enforced as well as talking on your cell phone while driving.

That law will be easy to enforce and therefore it will be done. Plus, there's more nosey people who try to irritate & cause problems who'd love to pat themselves on the back for "doing the right thing." Lookout, here comes the "Big Brother" or "1984" Theory. It's already here - people just don't realize their being groomed to accept it thinking thier "doing the right thing" by tattling or exposing other's mishaps. It's all part of the grooming process to eventually be used to control our lives.
Goodbye FREEDOM, hello "BEAST"
All they have to do is drive down the street slow and type in addresses.
EZ to meet their quota for the month(yes they do have those).

This is a good thing. I can't stand those ignorant lazy people that can't be bothered to clean their cars off. Instead I get a sheet of ice onto my cleaned off car or a snow bath from it blowing off their roof. Main offenders: Mini Vans - If you can't clean it off and be safe, don't drive it
