Wasn't this the same traffic signal stanchion that got knocked down previously in that school bus accident? Seems like this is a bad corner lately.

Red lights, stop signs...its ridiculous!!! Nobody gives a crap about anyone but themselves, and apparently these same ppl are above the traffic laws and feel that they can disregard anything and everything in their way...oh, BTW, its usually not them that get hurt or killed, its the other person...so tired of people and their self centeredness...

I agree. These people think the laws are for everyone else. I'm so sick of it. Not many people do the posted speed limit on Fischer or any other road. I think there should be mandatory defensive driving class before a person gets their DL. I also think these teens need a trip to the morgue to see the results of speeding and all the other stuff they do while driving.

In addition to this accident, there was also 2 fairly bad accidents at almost the exact same location hours apart on Bay ave, between Coolidge and Vaughn this evening. Too many accidents. Drivers really need to start paying attention to "driving". No one sets out and intends to have an accident, but I believe if people weren't so careless, and distracted, most of these accidents wouldn't happen.

Spoke last year with the Mayor about the danger of Fischer Blvd.....from one end of the Blvd to the other...the speed increase for 40MPH to 50MPH and most people travel way over 50....then there's the center turn/merge lane, which I renamed, "The suicide lane"...I have seen people use that center lane as a third lane....I want to find out how any accidents and deaths has there been in the pass 5 years.....Radar needs to be put in place, for about 6 months

Those center lanes are strictly turning lanes for people to turn off of Fischer. They are not supposed to be used to merge onto the roadway and that causes problems. If you look at the signs posted and the arrows in the lanes themselves, you can see they are not travel or merging lanes. I live off of Fischer and almost every night when I try to make my turn off of Fischer someone is driving head on to me.

Roads aren't dangerous. People driving like idiots on roads are what makes them dangerous.

I had accident 1991 still same problem. I think time for road to fix light arrow on green light to make left turn on Fischer. Need to speed reduce 40 mph or less for that between fischer blvd and yellowbank road. Some driver dont care drive like NASCAR race. That is what I think so.
