Home Left Vacant By Sandy Damaged in Fire
A residence on Longman Street was damaged by a Port-a-Potty fire Saturday afternoon.
A port-a-potty fire left a Longman Street, Silverton residence left vacant since Sandy damaged Saturday afternoon, Toms River Police Chief Michael Mastronardy said Sunday afternoon, Feb. 10.
Silverton fire company responded and extinguished a fire that started at a Johnny-on-the-Spot port-a-potty located near the residence on the corner of Longman Street, accoding to Mastronardy. Toms River Police also responded to the scene.
The fire damaged the port-a-potty and caused minor damage to the siding of the home, according to Mastronardy. Detective Thomas Dimichele and Officer William Hutton are investigating.

Like the owner didn't suffer enough that some MONSTER had to set the potty on fire? What the heck is happening to society?

Thankfully, damage to the house seems to be confined to the exterior - at least their homeowners policy should pay up - and it'll be alot quicker than FEMA disbursements ! But then there's always the deductible ... Sincerely I wish these people better luck. And I hope they find the person(s) responsible for either accidently or intentionally causing this incident.....
