Thursday marks several milestone visits for Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, who will be in Brielle, Spring Lake and Ortley Beach to recognize re-openings and student achievement, respectively.

The lieutenant governor will welcome the re-opening of the Ortley Beach A&P, the landmark supermarket in one of the more devastated portions of the barrier island. Its parking lot served as a major staging area for emergency and restoration operations after Hurricane Sandy.

Her 10 a.m. visit to Ortley Beach section of Toms River will serve as the grand re-opening of the supermarket as well as highlight Salvation Army efforts in the area.

From there, Guadagno is expected to head to the Black Trumpet restaurant on the Spring Lake oceanfront. The latest stop in the state's "Open for Business" campaign will highlight the dining establishment, located in the Grand Victorian Hotel in the borough.

A remaining stop in Brielle Elementary School will celebrate student volunteerism. The elementary students are honored with the Governor’s Cup Award Ceremony, with The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Guadagno is also scheduled to swear in Judge Mara E. Zazzali-Hogan in Freehold, Monmouth County Superior Court at 4 p.m.
