The map doesn't appear with the story, but I got 5" on Kettle Creek Rd. in TR. No flooding, thank goodness.
Will they rebuild the oceanfront dunes before next weeks storms?

No flooding in Shelter Cove as of 1 pm...we're at high tide now, which appears to be normal. You should be okay. I heard that Seaside got some minor flooding.

Can they dredge tghe bay before next week's 2 storms? Can they build dunes and replenish the beaches by then? Here comes "hell and high water" again.

I hate to say it but at this rate if Tom's river does get moving there won't be any barrier island left by the summer... but that's likely what they want anyway... as much as I hate the idea of moving but at this point and all the frustration I almost wish the township would buy out the property... it's just becoming hit after hit and the town has done nothing to help residents... if the whole easement thing want an issue we could have dunes protecting the island already... after all... it's been how many months?
