MTV's "Jersey Shore" Airs Season 5 Starting Jan. 5

Season filmed in Seaside this summer

All eyes will again be on Seaside Heights and its most famous summer house tenants, when the fifth season of MTV's Jersey Shore will begin to air starting Thursday Jan. 5.

Reality television show castmates Vinnie, Snooki, the "Situation," et al will be back on the air after filming around Seaside Heights and Toms River, similar to previous seasons videotaped at the rental house off Ocean Terrace and Kearney, or on the boards and nightclubs of Seaside. The Jersey Shore cast spent the summer in and around Ocean County after filming season four in Italy.

When will Jersey Shore season five be over? The previous seasons were 12 episodes long, a new one airing weekly. The staple reunion show is likely planned.

MTV's Jersey Shore season five, episode one, is on at 10 p.m. Thursday. However, MTV is also reruning episodes from Jersey Shore season four all day Thursday.

I seriously LOVE the fact that one of the "related topics" of this story is "who cares" because seriously... WHO DOES???? Can't WAIT for this trash TV to get cancelled!

What would it take to make this show look good ? I got my answer last week, when I saw Baby Huey (gov.Christie) speaking around the US about NJ.
That did it for me.....bring on season 5 !!!!

I can't imagine this show will last longer than a couple more seasons, but I did review the premiere episode of this season at http://mtvjerseyshore.info/?p=118 Check it out if that tickles your fancy.

i seriously hate this show. they have completely made new jersey, and especially OUR HOME, the laughing stock of the country...i wish there was a national public forum for us to at lease defend ourselves...I hate that people think that's what we and this area are all about.
