Thank you Noname for the negitive side of one's comment. I new some person would have to make a comment like that, but , never thought it would happen so quickly.I'm sorry to hear that your home and cars are flooded, your power is out and you lost all your food. I really didn't mean to make such light of that. And.....If you weren't refering to yourself, then rethink before you write.Your mind is obviously sick Do you really think anyone on this site doesn't feel for all that "have" been affected.We all could feel very sad for all of those that have lost, but also can be greatful for what we have not! Thank you to all the other comments hearing my words You know what I ment.Pray for all of us.

We had winds OVER 30 MPH. Imagine ? "Great BIG Hurricane. Winds "could" exceed 120 MPH." The media and Obama are the same. ALL Hype !

Hey Greg... you are a prime example of not being able to make everyone happy all the time! If we weren't told to take extreme measures and precautions and something huge happened YOU would be the first to moan about how you weren't warned ! Sorry if you were inconvenienced a tad.

All I have to say is "Better Safe than Sorry" I thank our Governor Christie for the stance he took in ordering evacuations from the coast. I thank the local govts in Ocean County for their handling of the storm. I thank the residents of Ocean County for abiding by the evacuation orders. I especially thank the media, for GREAT coverage via radio, TV, internet and printed media. Because of this we had minimal injuries and death. I thank Hurricane Irene for taking it easy on the Jersey Shore.
Job well done by everyone.

I know what you all are going through I live in south Florida and every year when hurricane season arrives I get this sick feeling deep inside. i have been through hurricane Andrew and recently felt the heavy winds from Sandy for two days plus. I watch the weather on t v and find that useless especially when they show the ten forcast maps of where the storm might go. I grew up in New Jersey and spent endless time on the Garden State Parkway and Turnpike so I have ties to N J. from all directions. So when I see the damages caused
by the storm I just say a prayer and remember My New Jersey. All of your good memories
will get you through this.
