Expanded Parking Approved for Seacourt Pavillion

Toms River planning board approves resolution

The Seacourt Pavilion will get an increase in parking, thanks to a resolution approved by the Toms River Planning Board.

The owners of the strip mall will be allowed to add 57 new parking spaces to their site, on the corner of Bay and Hooper avenues in Toms River.

As part of the approval the board will allow the applicant an 11-foot variance from the parking lot setback and additional signage to help drivers better navigate the new parking layout.

The board found there were no negative impacts with the proposal based on the existing layout of the site.

The applicant was required to accept a deed restriction that they will not subdivide the property.
