Police Investigating Fischer Boulevard Robbery

Authorities looking into robbery of Fischer Service Center

 

According to Police Chief Michael Mastronardy, the Toms River Township Police Department are currently investigating a robbery which took place on Friday evening on Fischer Boulevard.

"[The robbery] occurred at the Fischer Service Center, at 735 Fischer Boulevard, at 6:15 p.m.on Friday night," said Mastronardy.

The chief explained that a white male, wearing a gray ski mask, a white gray zip-up and blue jeans entered the service center, armed with a knife.

"The suspect demanded money from an employee, then fled on foot from the station with about $100 in proceeds," the chief explained.

Officer Ryan Quinn and Detective Brian Lomer are investigating the robbery at this time.
