Power Outage Affects Hooper Ave., Fischer Boulevard JCP&L Customers
Power to be restored by 9:30-9:45 p.m.
Public Service Electric & Gas crews Sunday repaired a wire downed by a squirrel at the intersection of Forest Avenue and Soldier Hill Road that caused a power outage for 1,100 people in the Paramus neighborhood.

A total of 380 Jersey Central Power & Light Company customers are without power in the vicinity of Hooper Avenue and Fischer Boulevard.
The outage was reported at approximately 9 p.m. and affected portions of East Dover and Silverton.
An outage map showing 1,300 customers without power is inaccurate, according to Gerry Riccciardi, JCP&L area manager.
Power is expected to be restored to all customers by 9:30 or 9:45 p.m. while workers attend to a broken wire, Ricciardi said.

Power went out appx 6:40 pm. It was out for 3 hours before it came back on.
