Sea Isle City: 'Summer 2013 We're Ready'

Known for its night-life and natural coastline

Sea Isle is known as a hot spot for fans of night-life activities and natural beaches, but also serves a destination for families with its amusements and rides.

Despite suffering some damage during Hurricane Sandy, including flooding, the town has proudly declared itself open for business with the advertising campaign slogan "Summer 2013 We're Ready."

Beach Fees: pre-Season (thru 5/15) $20; seasonal $25, weekly $10, daily $5, children under 12 free. Wednesday is free beach day, with no tags required on Wednesdays (except for July 4).

Lifeguard hours: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday; 10am - 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and holidays

Handicap access: Beach patrol has sand wheelchairs.  Call to reserve: 609-263-3655

Surfing beaches: 26th, 37th, 42nd, 48th, 53rd, 63rd, 74th and 82nd streets

Surf fishing beaches: south of 93rd Street to the bay side of Townsend's Inlet Bridge area and the beach areas adjacent to the rock jetties, away from the protected bathing, surfing and kayaking beaches.

Public boat ramps: 42nd Place and the Bay Marina. Supervisor, Frank Edwardi 609-263-0009. $10/Day, $100/Seasonal Rate. Boat Launching from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Catamaran and sailboat launching beaches from 22nd Street beach to 20th Street beach. Permit and test required.

No launching of motorized boats or jet ski from any beach.

Fishing piers: 59th Street at the Bay.

Public restrooms are located at 32nd, 40th, 44th and 85th streets

Boardwalk hours for bicycles: weekdays 5 a.m. - 3 p.m.; weekends 5 a.m. - noon

Boardwalk hours for roller blades: weekdays 5 a.m. - 3 p.m.; weekends 5 a.m. - noon

Tennis courts: 6108 Central Ave. (8 a.m. - dusk)

Skateboard parks: Dealy Field 59th - 63rd streets at Central Avenue (8am - dusk)
