People wouldnt sell drugs if our phoney drug war didnt make it so profitable. The system is broken and peopke who say dumb things like just kill them all and dont bother using their brain are a big part of the reason its stays that way.

Yes there is the $100 initial fee and then I think a $25 yearly fee to recoup the costs of false arm responses apparently it cost more money for a patrol car to leave the Dunkin donuts and 7-11 and drive so the tax $ we pay isn't enough $ for the township the alarm deters thieves and alerts the Fire Department guess they figured they can dip into our pockets on this and not make it look like a new tax.

Yes you do have to pay a one time permit for an alarm and also a yearly fee ( I pay $25) to an out of state billing company that TRPD hired to take care of their billing. I received a bill in the spring and I thought is was a scam because I wasn't notified by anyone that an outside billing company was handling this so I called the TRPD and after I left 3 messages they finally called and confirmed. They also told me they have received a lot of complaints because no one was notified.

I would certainly not bash any officer, people need to understand Toms River has a population of 100,000 people and a police force of maybe only 170 officers, they can't be everywhere, especially on nuisance calls.
