maybe it should be a bay beach. and move the park to the old water treatment property on Fielder Ave.

Let's hope that Toms River makes this an opportunity and provides a nice new park in the area. Water views should be easier to accomplish now. New tennis courts, new basketball court, a public boat or kayak ramp and rebuilding of the play area would be welcome. Insurance should help relieve the tax burden - although those of us who live in Ortley pay plenty of taxes to fund it.

Ortley has such nice parks, so utilized all year. The Tennis courts are always busy, I love watching the pic-up mens basketball games on the weekends, those guys have real game!! Not to mention the park bench, and all that came to view the sunset, siggghhhhhhhh I will miss that so much!!
