Two Accidents at Residences Lead to Trauma
One man falls from a two-story house, second falls from ladder
Toms River Township Police Officer Mark Nater responded to a residence on Rico Avenue where a 48-year-old Clifton man fell 20 feet from a two-story home, according to Police Chief Michael Mastronardy.
The incident occurred at approximately 12 p.m. on Saturday.
The worker, an employee from Do-All Construction, Belleville, fell onto a concrete driveway, suffering a head and leg injury, police said.
The unidentified man was transported to the trauma center at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
No further information was available.
In the second incident, at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday Officer Nater responded to a home on Redwood Drive where a homeowner fell 10 feet off a ladder to the patio below, suffering a head injury, according to Mastronardy.
The homeowner was cleaning his gutters, police said.
The 58-year-old man, who was not identified, was treated on the scene then transported via helicopter to the trauma center at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

I hope the fall victims recover soon and for the TR Patch, people fall all the time. I wonder how much tax money TR PD wasted for this press release what a joke. I must be missing something here, that TR is trying to say. Giving Mastro press I guess?

Seems like it could have been the winds that played a part in those accidents.It was kicking up big time earlier today.

It was a beutiful weekend but probably not best due to wind.....but hopdully they learn from this. Thankfully there ok...
