Problem is all the politicians want them here because businesses love the cheap labor they provide. It'd be nice if people would wake up and see what is going on and elect people who will abide by the law, but people are too brainwashed, this last election is proof of that. So the illegals will continue to come here to rape and pillage, while living in squalor while they send whatever money they have back to their homeland. And the politicians will refuse to do anything, but take our guns away so we cant defend ourselves. We're pretty much on a path to becoming Mexico. Unless citizens rise up and have a major movement to throw these criminal politicians out, but I fear by then it will be too late, once the sheeple start realizing their mistakes.

Jenny - I'm sure that a new law will help keep guns out of the hands of criminals. I think Lanza must have been unaware that the elementary school in Connecticut was in a "Gun Free Zone." How about we do something about these kids we are raising and the violence they experience on virtually every TV channel, the many video games they play and the movies they go to see? They are desensitized to violence by the time they arrive in grade school, and then we wonder why gun crimes occur at the rate they do. The only thing that will stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Our culture does not seem to be getting the message. Until our society decides it wishes to be civilized, I'll protect my life and that of my family by any legal means possible.

you have a valid point donna and i must admit i bought my son violent video games back in the day and i really wish now i hadnt...among other things i am sure i did wrong and probably still do...but i agree the violence is too much
