The new boardwalk in Seaside Heights is under construction, giving us locals an emotional boost! There is still much to do and clean up along the remaining boardwalk and piers, but the progress thus far has been amazing. Many thanks to all who have come together to get things done!

I grew up at Lavallette, Ortley Beach and Seaside and can not wait until everything is put back together. Looking forward to a great summer and supporting the local businesses. I have visited Lucky Leo's already and can not wait to see everything else in working order. See you in the summer!!!!

I am so curious as to what the summer is going to bring, I wonder how the crowds will be with a lot of the 2nd vacation homes/rentals still not repaired and where everyone is going to stay? Maybe a lot of daytrippers this summer not to much available inventory as far as summer rentals at least not in Ortley. I am happy that seaside is on the mend and want to see summer come!!

Great to see the progress...I just can't help thinking that it just is not going to be the same. At least not this summer.

I've been displaced from Seaside Heights since storm, want to go home and be a part of the rebuild, it will be as historic as the storm!
