Underpaid Flood Damages

Insurance fact # 1

Homeowners or Businessowner's insurance does not cover you for flood damage. Flood insurance is a completely separate policy.

Homeowners or Businessowner's policies are generally comprehensive in coverage. Flood insurance is a limited policy with very confusing policy language.

Insurance adjusters working for the companies are not motivated to see to it that you are paid properly under any of these three policies.

I am also a FEMA Certified Flood Adjuster with specialized training but I choose to work for the policyholders NOT the insurance carriers.
