Meeting Set for Secondary Homeowners Struggling with Sandy Recovery

Secondary homeowners facing the struggles of rebuilding following Hurricane Sandy are invited to a Wednesday meeting

Secondary homeowners facing the struggles of rebuilding following Hurricane Sandy are invited to a Wednesday meeting hosted by Rebuild Our Shore.

Though originally planned for the Silverton fire house, the meeting location was changed to Toms River Intermediate School North, 150 Intermediate North Way, after a large number of locals said they plan to attend.

The meeting, which is expected to be attended by local, state and FEMA representatives, begins at 7:30 p.m.

“The purpose of the meeting is to present and talk about proposals to assist Secondary Homeowners through channels including but not limited to fundraising, affordable rental conversions and legislative activism,” said Joseph Driscoll of Rebuild Our Shore.
