Joan M. Russo

Joan M. Russo, age 79, of Pine Beach died on February 1, 2014 in Thonotosassa, FL.

Mrs. Russo lived in South Toms River before moving to Pine Beach 39 years ago.

Joan was an active member of St. Barnabas Church, and a lifetime member of the South Toms River First Aid Squad.

She is survived by her husband, Sabate (Sam) Russo; three children, Cynthia (Cindi) D'onofrio of Asbury Park, Sam Russo of New Egypt, and Jodi Russo of Toms River; two brothers, Thomas Wagner of Seffner, FL and Fred Wagner of Rivervale, NJ; eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.

Cremation was private. A Memorial Service will be held on May 10, 2014 at 10:00am at the Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, with interment of cremains immediately following. Local arrangements are under the care of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Rte 37 West, Toms River.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the South Toms River First Aid Squad.
