Remembering Sandy: A multimedia presentation of film and oral histories (stories told by our youngest generation)

On Monday November 5th at 6:30 the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library is hosting Remembering Sandy, a multimedia presentation of film and oral histories. All ages are welcome and the event is free. The program features the words, film and poetry of the young people of Ocean County.

During this past summer, many Ocean County teens have been talking about what happened before, during and after the storm as part of an oral history project at the Ocean County Library.

This program is the culminating event of the first phase of this project and features the sharing of oral histories, and a film presentation (written, created and directed by teens).

Storytelling is healing. Come hear stories from the youngest members of our community.  Their observations about the storm and their reflections on how it changed them and our community may surprise you.  Please register in-person, by phone 732-349-6200 or online at www.theoceancountylibrary.org .
