The Goddard School Preschoolers Perform National Anthem at Lakewood BuleClaws Stadium

The preschool and pre-k classes from The Goddard School® located in Toms River II, NJ performed the Star Spangled Banner for the Lakewood BlueClaws’ game against the Delmarva Shorebirds on Sunday, June 1st. 

40-50 children from The Goddard School, ages 4 - 6, have been practicing three to four times a day for the past several weeks in preparation for their big performance. They are the first preschool to ever have been invited to perform the National Anthem for this team.

Donning specially made baseball shirts for the occasion and carrying a handmade “Play Ball” banner, these tykes took to the field just minutes before the first pitch to honor their country and entertain the crowd.
