Bars, Bands Round Up for Cinco De Mayo Weekend

Summer is right around the corner so hit these popular pubs and eateries before the crowds pour in!

Sawmill, 1807 Boardwalk, Seaside Heights- As a boardwalk bar, Sawmill attracts crowds of tourists and locals alike. A great spot to stop in for a beer after a hot day.
Friday-Cinco De Mayo party with live music by Triple Threat. Drink specials include $2.00 Sols and Miller Lite drafts, $3.00 sangrias and 16oz Miller Lite aluminum bottles, and $4 margaritas.

The Ark Pub and Eatery, 401 Route 35, Point Pleasant Beach- The Ark has quite an impressive list of beers, and they even have a club in honor of it! This is a great neighborhood spot to enjoy a few rounds.
Saturday: Live entertainment with Stop Here.
Sunday: Mother’s Day brunch special menu.

Martell’s Tiki Bar, Boardwalk, Point Pleasant- Martell’s is the epitome of a beach bar--with their tiki huts, island music, and Caribbean inspired drinks. You can find local entertainment here nightly in the summer, and on the weekends in the off-season.
Friday: Mike Dalton band begin early at 2:00pm; Gypsy Wisdom late night at 9pm.
Saturday: Dr. Cheeko at 12:30pm; Temporary Grace at 9pm.

Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights-A popular spot among the late night partiers, Beachcomber has nightly drink specials and the best cover bands on the shore.
Friday: Shorty Long performs at 10pm.
Saturday: It Ain’t Pretty performs at 10pm.

Idle Hour, 2600 Hwy 88, Point Pleasant- Idle Hour is “your neighborhood sports bar” with amazing daily drink specials and live entertainment on the weekends.
Friday: All day happy hour until 6pm with $2.00 domestic bottles and domestic pints.
Saturday: St.Pat’s Day with $2.00 mugs & $3.00 pints of Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, $3.00 shots of Irish whiskey, $4.00 car bombs until 10pm, and $4.99 corned beef sandwiches.

Hemingway’s Cafe, 612 Blvd, Seaside Heights-Hemingway’s is a covering-all-the-bases type of place, offering a bustling dinner scene, nightly entertainment, and a relaxing location near the beach.
Thursday: “Kill the Keg” countdown at 8pm with DJ James Strzz and no cover charge.Hold ‘em happy hour in the private room with poker tournament.
Friday: Happy hour from 4 to 7pm with $2.00 drafts, $7.00 martinis, and $5 wines. At 10pm DJ Milky Mike will be spinning, no cover charge.
Saturday: The Hottest Dance Party Down the Shore with music by DJ BTK & DJ Teo. No cover before 11pm.
