June Jamboree Pushing Animal Adoptions

Fees waived for future pets at Northern Ocean County Animal Shelter

Adoption fees for some animals will be waived at a June Jamboree and Garage Sale at the Northern Ocean County Animal Shelter on Freemont Avenue in Jackson from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. June 18.

A gift will be given to all those adopting pets as well, according to Brian Lippai, who manages the county’s animal facilities.

“Each animal adopted from the Ocean County shelters is spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated,’’ said Freeholder Gerry P. Little.
