Local Road Updates: New Light at Dover and Main

Toms River area sees local and county projects change traffic patterns

Drivers, take note. Some ongoing construction projects, new traffic lights and more will change your commute around Toms River.

Here's a list of some traffic changes in the area.

• Presidential Boulevard and Old Freehold Road at Route 166 have been realigned for the entrance of the Crossroads Center shopping center with Shop Rite there. Traveling north on Route 166, left hand turns are only allowed at the light, no longer allowed at the previous entrance where police were directing traffic.
