PHOTOS: Vigil Supporting Newtown Shooting Victims
About 80 gathered in a candlelight vigil at Congregation B'nai Israel to honor the victims of the elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn.
Before a backdrop of a flag at half mast and a fully lit menorah, names of those killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School at Newtown, Conn. on Friday were read on a chilly, drizzling night at Congregation B'Nai Israel.
As each name was read, a candle was lit in their memory in the letter's "CT," an abbreviation for Connecticut.
A memorial prayer was conducted as well as the Mourner's Kaddish.
