Pothole Problems: Where Are the Worst Road Craters in Toms River?

It's been a rough winter, no one's questioning that.

From snow days at school to salt shortages throughout the state, towns have had to deal with the inclement weather on a daily basis, Toms River included.

With the heavy snow and ice accumulations over the past couple of months, roads may have suffered the most, as small cracks in the pavement a few weeks ago have become tire-busting craters nearly impossible to avoid.

Each town has its share of notoriously bad potholes drivers try to avoid for fear of a blowout, or even worse.

So, Toms River, which roads have the worst potholes in town? Let us know in the comments, and if you've got a photo of a bad spot, be sure to send it over to tom.davis@patch.com.

The jug handle road (I believe it's Lowell) that takes you from 37 to Hooper, right by the Wawa. You have to hug the side of the road or you'll lose a tire
