Seaside Metered Parking Now in Effect

A breakdown of whats free and what requires your quarters, at the Jersey Shore

We travel to the shore, we look for parking spaces, we're not sure if the meters are in effect.

Each town is different. Here's a roundup of paid parking regulations at our local beaches:

Island Beach State Park-- Daily per vehicle entry fee in effect year round. Mon-Fri, $6. Sat-Sun, $10. Motorcycles $5 any day. Entry fee includes beach access.
Lavallette-- Parking available in Municipal lots. $10 for season pass starting Memorial Day weekend. Free street parking in designated areas.
Ortley Beach-- Free parking year round.
Seaside Heights-- Metered parking is now in effect.
Seaside Park-- Meters enforced on weekends only thru May 15. May 16 and after, enforced 24 hours daily.
