The Toms River Township Municipal Alliance will host a Senior Health Fair in town, this Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The health fair will include free food and over 30 vendors to provide health screenings, social services, hospice information, physical therapy and other programs geared for older adults.
The event is being funded through the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.
There will be social service, health care, nonprofit and private agencies coming, organizers said in an e-mail. The event is indoor-outdoor and includes a free barbecue picnic lunch and Howard Goldstein of Professional DJs providing entertainment.
The event will be held at the Toms River Senior Center, 652 Garfield Avenue.
