Toms River East Grad Brian Geraghty Guest-Stars On Hit T.V. Show

Brian Timothy Geraghty, born in Toms River and a High School East Class of 1993 graduate, has landed a role on the hit T.V. series, "Ray Donovan."

Geraghty joined the cast in a recurring role as Detective Jim Halloran of the Los Angeles Police Department, according to The Asbury Park Press.

Geraghty went from his hometown to New York City, eventually landing a brief role on the Sopranos, before catching the eye of Hollywood casting.

In the Hurt Locker, which went on to win a 2009 Oscar, Geraghty played Specialist Owen Eldridge.

Still acting in 2012, his filmography includes such pictures as Jarhead (2005), We Are Marshall(2006), and Bobby (2006).
