Vigil Planned for Brandon Holt Friday Night

Services for the 6-year-old begin Friday afternoon and continue into Saturday

A candle light vigil for Brandon Holt, the 6-year-old who was killed in an accidental shooting earlier this week, is planned for Friday at 9 p.m in downtown Toms River.

The vigil, a groundswell effort that has been gaining momentum through Facebook shares, is planned to begin after visitation services conclude at the Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals in Toms River, which are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Organizers ask that those interested in participating in the vigil meet at the funeral home with candles. They will then march to Huddy Park.
