Watch: Temporary Dune Being Built in Ortley Beach
Dune will protect the area until a federal beach replenishment project begins in June 2014
A temporary dune project stretching from Toms River's northern beaches through Ortley Beach is being constructed on all public portions of the oceanfront as well as in front of private properties whose owners have signed easements allowing an upcoming federal beach replenishment project to go through.
