Weekend Nightlife Round Up

Giving you a jump start to your weekend

Jenk’s Club, Point Pleasant Beach—The premiere night club at the Jersey Shore, Jenk’s is always a good time. The calendar at this club stays full—from local cover bands to theme parties with huge prizes and giveaways, Jenk’s knows how to entertain. This Friday they’ve got Dark City Saints and DJ Prime and Saturday will be DJ Unique spinning late night. Free For All Fridays is a popular night, with $1 bar drinks from 9-11p.m. and $2 Coors Light all night. Jenk’s is located at 300 Ocean Ave, Point Pleasant Beach.

 The Ark Pub and Eatery, Point Pleasant-The Ark is a classic spot with that friendly neighborhood feel. This Sunday they are featuring an Easter Brunch special that includes a carving and omelet station, pasta, and more for $15.95. Brunch times are from 10a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights you can usually catch local live entertainment, but call for details. The Ark is located at 401 Sea Ave, Point Pleasant Beach.

 Beachcomber, Seaside Heights-Beachcomber Bar and Grill is one of the most popular venues in Seaside Heights. The bar has live music every weekend (usually cover bands playing everyone’s favorite party songs), a full menu, and daily drink specials. Performing this Friday and Saturday will be Shorty Long who plays everything from Chicago to the White Stripes to Tom Petty to Santana. Beachcomber is located at 100 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights Boardwalk.

 Klee’s, Seaside Heights- Klee’s is one bar in Seaside Heights that has managed to stay “the” local hotspot with friendly faces and trusty service. A great spot to unwind on a Friday evening, Klee’s has their “already famous” happy hour and live entertainment. This Friday performing live will be Mas Mojo who plays a mix of blues/soul/rock. Klee’s is located at 101 Boulevard, Seaside Heights.

 Hemingway’s, Café, Seaside Heights-Hemingway’s serves as a great cross between a family restaurant and a Jersey Shore club.  The late night crowd definitely has a reputation for being wild, and Hemingway’s usually has live entertainment, games, and promotions through out the weekend. This Thursday, April 21st is their famous VIP card giveaway (which is good for free admission and line privileges year round. Saturday night turns into one of the hottest dance parties at the Shore with DJ BTK and DJ Teo. Hemingway’s is located at 612 Boulevard, Seaside Heights.

 McIntyre’s Pub, Toms River- Bringing you “one hundred thousand welcomes,” McIntyre’s has that Irish flare we know so well at the Jersey Shore. This pub has a full menu, a full calendar, and serves a full bodied Guinness every time        !  They have sport leagues such as darts and golf, and have a sports bar that will satisfy any big-league fanatic. Never lacking on live music, this Friday they’ve got Temporary Grace and Saturday performing will be Mike Dalton Band.  McIntyre’s is located at 213 Route 37 East in Toms River.
