Weekend Nightlife Round Up for July 1-4

It's hard to believe it's already Independence Day weekend, but celebrate we will! Here are some suggestions to spice up your 4th of July.

McIntyre’s Pub, 213 Route 37 East, Toms River- McIntyre’s brings you “one hundred thousand welcomes” with a friendly pub atmosphere, live music, and great beer.

  • Friday: TRAX performs live. Drink specials include $3.00 Yuengling and Yuengling Light.
  • Saturday: Live music with Sonny Kenn Band at 10p.m. $2.50 Bud Lights.

 

Jenk’s Club, 300 Ocean Ave, Point Pleasant-The premiere nightclub at the Jersey Shore, Jenk’s has top notch live entertainment, can’t-beat drink specials, and high energy dance parties.

  • Friday: Live performance by Lifespeed at 10p.m. $2.50 Coors Light until midnight.
  • Saturday: No Standards at 2p.m.; The Benjamins at 10p.m.
  • Sunday: Flying Mueller Brothers at 2p.m. Go-Go Gadget and DJ Unique at night with $3.00 Corona and Corona Lights all night.
  • Independence Day: 70’s party with Joe Causi.

 

Hemingway’s Cafe, 612 Blvd, Seaside Heights-Hemingway’s is a covering-all-the-bases type of place, offering a bustling dinner scene, nightly entertainment, and a relaxing location near the beach.

  • Thursday: Domestic Thursdays with DJ’s Billy the Kid & Encore. $2.00 domestic bottles and $3.00 Skyy drinks.
  • Friday: Ladies Night with half priced drinks for ladies. $2.00 Coors Light bottles and $3.00 bomb shots. DJ Milky Mike will be spinning. No cover for ladies.
  • Saturday: The Hottest Dance Party Down the Shore with music by DJs Billy the Kid and DJ Teo. No cover before 10pm.

 

Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights-A popular spot among the late night partiers, Beachcomber has nightly drink specials and the best cover bands on the shore.

  • Friday: Matt Noffsinger Band performs at 10p.m.
  • Saturday: Steve Brown performs at 3p.m.; Trippin’ Carla at 10p.m.
  • Sunday: Frankie and The Burn at 4p.m

 

Martell’s Tiki Bar, Boardwalk, Point Pleasant Beach- Martell’s is the epitome of a beach bar--with their tiki huts, island music, and Caribbean inspired drinks. You can find local entertainment here nightly in the summer, and on the weekends in the off-season.

  • Friday: The party kicks off early at 10a.m. with JoBonanno & the The Godsons. Tiki Tea Fridays starts at noon with DJ Tempo. Mike Dalton Trio will be performing at 2p.m. Late night Radio Riot will be performing.
  • Independence Day: Mike Dalton Band starts the party at 10a.m., followed by Martell’s Beach Monday’s with DJ Tempo starting at noon. Overboard performs at 2p.m., and Gypsy Wisdom takes the stage at 8:30p.m.
