David Cedeno & His Orchestra at John F. Peto Studio Museum
David Cedeño & His Orchestra will play at the John F. Peto Studio Museum, 102 Cedar Avenue, Island Heights on August 23rd from 6-9 PM. The event will be held on the beautifully restored grounds of the museum, so bring a lawn chair and a picnic. The cost of the event is $15 for adults and $6 for children from 6-13 years. David Cedeño is known within the Latin music world for taking the initiative to introduce Latin music to English speaking audiences by rearranging popular hits to a Latin salsa beat while keeping the original lyrics in English. Some of the titles include Lady in Red, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, and Sealed with a Kiss. Together with his orchestra, David plays a large variety of Latin music including salsa, meringue, ballads, and waltzes. David & His Orchestra are known internationally and spent six months playing in Japan. Their albums are distributed in Germany, the Netherlands, and Japan. David appeared as a trumpet player in the 2007 movie “El Cantante” (The Singer) starring Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony.
