Festive Spirit Continues this Weekend

The festivities were just beginning last weekend with the because here are a few more festivals to attend for this weekend.

The 9th annual will be this Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. in Downtown Toms River on Washington Street. The festival will name the best ice cream as voted by the fans that attend and by the judges. The Ice Cream Festival will also have inflatable rides, free entertainment and much more.  

If the Ice Cream Festival isn’t enough, the Toms River Seaport Society and Maritime Museum will have their . The festival is set to take place at (relatively close to the Ice Cream Festival) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. 

But before the Wooden Boat Festival on Saturday, the Toms River Seaport Society and Maritime Musuem will also be hosting a at the Island Heights Yacht Club on Friday.

Cap your busy weekend off with Seaside's free Movie on the Beach. This week's showing is the PG-13 Movie: Pink Panther with musical entertainment by Toneantone & Gino. The movie will be on Sunday at dusk at the Hiering Avenue Ocean Front Stage.
