Seaside Heights Holds Local 9/11 Memorial Service

Seaside Heights 9/11 memorial service held at 12:30 PM on the boardwalk stage at Franklin Avenue.

A moment of silence was observed at 1:00 PM on the Seaside Heights boardwalk after local officials held a memorial service.

SHFD hoisted a flag over the boardwalk via hook-and-ladder firetruck for the service.

Officers from the SHPD were in attendance, as well as Boy Scout Troop 21.

During the service, onlookers were invoked to sing along to "God Bless America".
