Several Arrests in Narcotics Investigation

Thirteen people have been arrested and charged on various drug charges following a one-month cooperative multi-agency investigation conducted by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Special Operations Group, the Lakewood Police Department, the Brick Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriffs Department, officials said today.

The investigation established probable cause to obtain search warrants for two residences located in Lakewood, according to  Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato. 

The two locations were identified during the investigation as being utilized to store and distribute narcotics by those individuals involved in this illicit drug distribution operation. 

The investigation culminated yesterday when detectives from the Special Operations Group, the Lakewood Police Emergency Services Unit and the Brick Township Police Emergency Services Unit executed search warrants simultaneously at both 223 B Martin Luther King Boulevard and 233 B Martin Luther King Boulevard. 

As a result of the execution of the search warrants, law enforcement authorities confiscated quantities of heroin, cocaine and marijuana and some $3800 in drug proceeds along with drug paraphernalia.

During the course of the investigation, three vehicles were identified as being utilized to store, distribute and facilitate the activities of this drug distribution network.  

The following is a list of vehicles seized:

 A 1998 Green Chevrolet Cavalier registered to Dasia Brown

 A 1989 Black Cadillac registered to Walter Donaldson

 A 2013 Volkswagon, which has been identified as a rental vehicle.

The following individuals were arrested and charged:

Steven Morgan, Martin Luther King Drive, Lakewood, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Honorable Superior Court Judge Francis R. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Morgan at $100,000 no ten percent.

Jonathan Rosado, Lakewood, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug Paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Rosado at $100,000 no ten percent.

Rauquan Hagen, Center Street, Lakewood, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Hagen at $100,000 no ten percent

Shaniaya Crews, Martin Luther King Drive, Lakewood, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Crews at $75,000 no ten percent.

Dasia D. Brown, Cedar Bridge Avenue, Lakewood, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Brown at $75,000 no ten percent.

Elijah Walker,  Martin Luther King Boulevard, Lakewood,  was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Walker at $75,000 no ten percent.

Daa’Imah T. Parrish, Kingsley Way, Freehold, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Parrish at $75,000 no ten percent.

Tyshawn Morris, 8th Street, Barnegat, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Morris at $75,000 no ten percent.

Brandon Frazier, E. Spruce Street, Lakewood,  was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Frazier at $75,000 no ten percent.

Walter Donaldson, Finchley Boulevard, Lakewood, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on  Donaldson at $75,000 no ten percent.

Ajea Brown,Martin Luther King Boulevard, Lakewood, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Brown at $75,000 no ten percent.

Johntel Thomas, Willow Point Drive, Jackson, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Thomas at $75,000 no ten percent.

Shantima Brown, Route 88, Point Pleasant, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with Intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hodgson Jr. JSC set bail on Brown at $75,000 no ten percent.

Also arrested during the execution of the search warrants was a juvenile. The identity of the juvenile will not be released. The juvenile was charged accordingly and released to his/her guardian.
