Some Asbury Park Press Staffers Included In Gannett's Latest Round Of Cuts
At least eight staffers gone, according to sources
Although Gannett Corp. hasn't officially announced it yet, newspaper staffers across the country were laid off today, including at least eight Asbury Park Press employees, according to Gannett Blog.

The independent blog is run by former longtime Gannett reporter Jim Hopkins, who predicted yesterday there would be a "stealth" round of layoffs today.
