Valentine's Day Dining Guide: Have You Made Reservations Yet?

We've rounded up some of the area's top restaurants to help make your special night a little easier.

: This upscale brewery and fine dining establishment is a perfect destination for a special Valentine’s Day dinner. They’re offering a special three-course dinner all weekend (February 11-14) for $36.95 per person. You’ll choose from a pre-fixe menu of appetizers, entrees and desserts. Some menu specialties include roasted vegetable ravioli, cilingene fritti, stuffed lamb meatballs and white chocolate panna cotta. For reservations call 732-244-7566 or visit them online.

: This friendly restaurant serves up a mix of Mediterranean cuisines from France, Italy and Turkey. On Valentine’s Day they’ll be offering a special four-course dinner from 4 p.m. to close. The dinner is $35 per person and reservations are required. They’ve even got a special pasta starter dish, Ravioli Cupid, made with homemade heart shaped ravioli stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella and parmigiana cheese served with marinara sauce!

Spice up your date night with the Greaseband! The band will be performing “the greatest dance songs of the 50’s & 60’s” on Friday, Feb. 10 for Jack Baker’s Lobster Shanty Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance. Doors open at 7:15 p.m., dinner is served at 7:30 p.m., and the band plays at 8 p.m. Tickets are $60 per person and include a four-course pre-fixe dinner menu. : If you’re looking for a low-key alternative to expensive dinner packages then head to this neighborhood favorite. A four-course dinner for two is $49.99 and includes a complimentary glass of champagne, soup or salad, appetizer, entree and dessert. Call 732-899-2102 for reservations or visit them online. 

: This casual, friendly bar and restaurant will be celebrating Valentine’s Day all weekend from Friday through Tuesday. They’ll be offering their regular menu plus chef’s specials and a Sweetheart Menu built for two. There will be live entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Reservations are suggested. : Captain’s Inn will be offering a special couple’s dinner menu for $90 which includes appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. There will be live music by Melanie & Sonny from 6 to 10 p.m. To make reservations call 609-693-3351 and to see the full menu click here.

Martell’s Waters Edge, 125 Bayview Ave, Bayville: This beautiful waterfront restaurant is a favorite among vacationers who frequent the outdoor tiki bar, but is also a gem for the locals who are able to enjoy the restaurant in the off-season. On Saturday and Sunday and on Valentine’s Day they’ll be offering dinner for two for $35 per person which includes a five-course meal with appetizer, salad, pasta dish to share, entree and a special chocolate fountain dessert.
