Last days for What's Needling You in downtown Toms River

A specialty shop catering to knitters and crocheters will close its doors this week after operating in downtown Toms River for several years.

, across from the post officein Toms River, is nearly empty of inventory as the owners prepare to close this weekend.

For the final days, all skeins of yarn are reduced to $2 each, though there isn't much left.

Owner Debbie Zelechoski announced that closing the shop was a hard decision but thanked the shop's customers for their support. A closing sale began in late April.

What's Needling You stocked yarn, needles, accessories and patterns, and also hosted classes and other special events based around the craft.

The shop, which opened in 2007 and in 2010 relocated in the same small strip mall to a larger space, is closing Saturday.
