Getting A Divorce From Your Couch

Most states have web sites specific to the family courts which oversee divorce and parenting matters. Issues which are under the umbrella of "family matters" would include divorce, legal separation, annulment, name change, child custody, visitation, paternity, and child support.

Here is a list of some services offered by the courts:

1. Forms- such as the financial affidavit required by most courts, change of information forms, forms asking the court to modify a child support order, etc.

2. Lists of individuals qualified to serve as Quardium Ad Litem

3. Places to get help with domestic violence issues

4. The date, time and location of a court event on a case, such as a hearing, is often available on the web site.

5. Many states have a summary of each case filed in the court online. Usually, the papers filed in the case can not be seen online.

Of course, following the maxim "no good deed goes unpunished" ....our good deed is giving you the information you need to reduce stress and save money. To reciprocate, your good deed, which would also benefit you, would be to buy our products and services at www.DivorceInformationNOW.com.
