Ocean Medical Center and Southern Ocean Medical Center are partnering with the Ocean County Mall in Toms River this weekend on Saturday, October 19 from 1 to 3 p.m. to host a teddy bear clinic.
This free event will provide an opportunity for children to meet nurses from area hospitals and dress their stuffed buddies with first aid supplies.
If children don't bring a teddy bear with them they can still get a colored arm cast and enjoy a visit from Meridian's Pawsative Action Team.
The clinic is being hosted along with the mall's Kidgets Club. Children can make cards and a craft for patients in the hospital and each member will receive pink pom-poms, a football and a pink and white beach ball.
The teddy bear clinic is free and registration is not required. The event will be held at the center court of the mall, in Toms River.
