Court Blotter: Recent Indictments for Drug Charges

Handed up by Ocean County Grand Juries

  • Shannon M. Knoke, 30, of South Toms River on oxycodone charges.

Knoke used fraud to obtain the prescription drug on July 2 in Berkeley Township and possessed more than an ounce, earning her a possession with intent to distribute charge. Additionally, she was charged with having the drugs while in the vicinity of .

The South Toms River woman was charged with third-degree attempting to obtain a controlled dangerous substance by fraud; third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance; second-degree possession with intent to distribute; and possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance in a school zone.

She is being held on $25,000 bail, no 10 percent option.

  • Evans Lubin, 29, and Damien E. Noonan, 19, both of Toms River, on drug charges.

The pair were arrested July 4 in Lakewood and accused of possessing oxycodone with the intent to sell it. Additionally, the pair were within 500 feet of Ocean County Park, police said, and were therefore also charged with possession with intent to distribute in a public recreation zone.

Both were jailed on $2,500 bail but posted the day of their arrest.
