PHOTOS: Sandy's Impact Six Months Later

Photographer Tim Larsen compares the superstorm's damage now versus six months ago

Photographer Tim Larsen has posted a series of photographs showing how areas devastated by Superstorm Sandy have recovered six months after the storm.

Larsen, a documentary photographer who currently serves as the Chief of Photography for the Governor's Office, posted the series of photos to his blog this week, marking the six month anniversary of Sandy's devastation at the Jersey Shore.

Images include scenes from Ortley Beach in Toms River, Beach Haven on Long Beach Island, Mantoloking and Seaside Heights.

Most areas show signs of improvement, though it remains clear that recovery work from the storm is far from complete.
