The Five Guys in Brick has closed, so it couldn't be that good. The Four Seasons does stink. I live right near it and had hoped it would be good, but no way.

My backyard - Weber grilled, dusted with steak seasoning, grilled on high until the outside is crunchy, then turned low so the inside remains juicy. It puts any of these burger joints to shame.

1stcav, we're generally a "you bring the alcohol, we supply the food" facility. Last week we had 2 BBQs with burgers, brats, beer-BBQ chicken, and Mojito chicken. When it comes to burgers, I'd much rather grill them myself. Although as someone who used to live in California for a time, I swear by In-N-Out Burger.

five guys is so overrated. I don't understand how it gets all this hype? Its a thin, over done burger, and they offer lots of toppings to try to mask the flavor. For the price they charge, I would go to any place and have a nice thick med rare burger (or however you like it) instead.

What kind of burgers do you use?
Billabong July 25, 2012 at 06:37 PM
Type of burgers? It depends. When I have the extra cash, the best bet are Omaha Steaks burgers but I've also done turkey burgers and BBQ chicken burgers.

I agree. I am not a french fry eater, but theirs are nothing but grease. Disgusting. I can see why they closed their place in Brick.

The Spot does a nice burger....juicy, good roll with whatever cheese you want (bet half of you don't even know where the Spot is...) Five Guys is a grease pit.....

The Office Lounge makes a very good burger. I just tried Burger 25 in TR and it's also very good.
