Overnight Route 571 Detour Begins Monday for Parkway Construction

Overnight Garden State Parkway construction is expected to cause detours on Route 571 next week. 

Improvements to the Parkway bridge which passes over the county route, also known as Indian Head Road, will be made from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Monday, Feb. 25 through Friday, March 1, according to the township. 

"The overnight construction was scheduled to minimize the impact on motorists," reads an advisory message issued by the township. "Motorists should follow the clearly marked detour signs and preferably avoid the area due to delays."
