Toms River's River City Extension Gets Warped Today

For the third year in a row, the Vans Warped Tour has invited a full slate of loud and snotty punks, hardcore kids, metalheads, and everyone in between to play in the courtesy lot.

The horses will be running too, as there's a full 12 race card scheduled. All racing fans will be treated to free parking and Grandstand admission.

Toms River's River City Extension will join Warped ska vets Less Than Jake, metalcore du jour group Asking Alexandria and dance punks The Ready Set in delivering some of the hottest sets of music for the young and young at heart during the day long festival.

Several stages will be set up, along with promotional tents selling music and giving out the ever-coveted free stuff.

The tour has partnered with promoters to provide $3 bottled water inside the gates. Klean Kanteen will also be providing free filtered water refilling stations to keep concertgoers hydrated.

Tickets for Warped are $42.12 and can be bought through Ticketmaster. Gates open at 11 a.m.
