Wanted Toms River Man Arrested as Part of Alleged Drug Ring

Federal charges allege Toms River man conspired to possess and distribute oxycodone

A Toms River man charged in a has been arrested by authorities.

Kyle Skora, 31, of Toms River was arrested late last week on charges that Skora conspired to possess and distribute oxycodone, said U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration spokesman Douglas Collier.

Dr. Hassan Lahham, 53, of New York City, Heather Dockery, 26, and Donald Johnson, 30, also were arrested late last week on charges that they conspired to possess and distribute oxycodone, said Collier.

Barnegat resident Christopher Erwin, named in a complaint announced by U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman last Wednesday, is scheduled to appear at a bail hearing at noon Tuesday in federal court in Trenton, officials said.

According to the complaint, Erwin was the ringleader of a drug organization that paid Lahham and another doctor, Jacqueline Lopresti, 50, of Fair Haven, to write prescriptions for oxycodone for various co-conspirators posing as patients. Authorities said the operation distributed hundreds of thousands of oxycodone pills over the course of nearly two years.
